[Prime_Tips]_Five Good Steps To Boost Your Confidence In Any Business Interview.

Job search is a very stressful aspect of one’s life; it takes motivation and being positive to get the right and dream job.

Interviews usually bring tense to job seekers. The more confident you feel, the more chances of gaining the interviewer attention. Be poised and hold your head high with these useful interview tips:

• Body Postures
Usually the mind controls all our actions and movement, but it is possible to use the body to trick the mind into feeling a certain way. Slouching or slumping and crossing your arms are all examples of closed off postures, and when we feel small, we tend to exhibit these poses. If you spend a little time opening yourself up and
exhibiting the postures of the confident, you can build a sense of assurance just by your actions. Spend several minutes practicing “power poses,” or opening yourself up, spreading your arms, walking tall, and looking the part.

• Be audible while speaking and put a smile
If you are not audible enough while speaking, Practice deep breathing,, this will relax your diaphragm and your vocal cords, which will result in a voice with more resonance and a somewhat lower tone and more breath to give power to your speech.
I recommend adding a few singing lessons, the instructor can teach you how to use the cavities in your head to create even more resonance. Once the interview starts, it’s extremely difficult to correct our speaking problems because we may be too nervous or we just plain don’t notice them. Practice speaking your answers out loud so you can hear your voice and correct any nervous intonations, pitch problems, or pacing issues before you go to your interview.
Smiling reduces stress that your body and mind feel, almost similar to getting good sleep, according to recent studies. And smiling helps to generate more positive emotions within you. Smile often before your interview to get in the habit of doing so, and you’ll feel more comfortable offering a genuine smile while you’re greeted and when you’re being interviewed.

• Prepare, Practice and Rehearse answers loudly
Before going for any interview invitation, you must be fully prepared. Being prepared for interview gives a feeling of confidence. You should be well-equipped, rehearse potential interview answers with a friend. “Look at the skills, experience, knowledge and personal qualities you have and think of examples showing how you developed these.

• Win over your anxiety and fear
For some job seekers, nerves can be disabling. Something happens when they walk through the door of the interviewer’s office. Cold sweat trickles down the back of their knees. Their minds draw a blank when asked basic questions like, “Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?” or, “Why would you like to work for this company above all others?” These candidates feel like they’re back at school in front of a crowded assembly, unable to make those words pass their lips. The easiest way to combat fear is by not using excuses. Instead, you need to look for positive approaches to accomplish your goal. Don’t let fear, nerves and stage fright keep you from the job interview you want. “Sometimes nerves take over and you don’t show who you are.”

• Dress appropriately
Before you say a single word to the interviewer, you have already made an impression based on how you’re dressed. Every company has a different dress code; how you dress at the job may have very little to do with how you dress for an interview. Dress in a manner that is professionally appropriate to the position for which you are applying. In almost all cases, this means wearing a suit. A dark-colored suit with light colored shirt is your best option

AN 18 –seater bus built from scratch by former Niger Delta militants trained at Innoson Kiara Academy, an arm of Innoson Motor Manufacturing Company, Nnewi, is to be delivered to President Muhammadu Buhari through the Presidential Adviser on Amnesty Programme, General Paul Boroh (retd).

The bus was on display at Innoson Motors and the Niger Delta trainees were elated that the federal government provided them the opportunity to acquire skills that had changed their lives for the better.

The donation of the bus to the President formed part of the graduation ceremony of 120 Niger Delta youths at Innoson Motors, Nnewi, who spent nine months training in the areas of auto mechanics, auto electrical, auto welding, auto painting and spraying, heavy duty truck maintenance, ICT, engineering drawing, entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills.

Boroh, who handed them certificates at the impressive ceremony said the Presidential Amnesty Programme would collaborate with Innoson to ensure that all of them were fully set up to contribute their quota towards nation-building.

Officials of Innoson Motors had earlier promised to employ the trainees on a starting monthly salary of N40,000 considering the quality of skills they had acquired.

Boroh, who flagged off the training nine months ago, told them at the graduation:

“You have been on this training for nine months and we hope you are well –equipped now. The skills you have acquired will never be allowed to waste even a day.

“It is not easy to employ people these days and that is why we are grateful to Chief Innocent Chukwuma for promising to employ all those who are interested in working in the company.

“Having learnt the job, you are on your way towards becoming successful entrepreneurs.

Modalities for the formation of the clusters where you will practice what you have learnt are already out.”

Taking a good look at Boroh, the graduates would be encouraged to set up co-operative societies to enable them get the full benefits of their training.

We Are Putting Things In Order With Boko Haram - FG Speaks

The Federal Government recently said it was very cool with members of Boko Haram on sunday.

In a statement by the Minister of Information and Culture, "Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the government added that it was being cautious in order to establish that it was dealing with the right people.

Asked by our correspondent if the government was conceding to the request of the Islamist group, Mohammed said the government was doing everything possible to secure the release of the girls and “put an end to the horrible saga of their abduction”.

He said, “The government is in touch with those behind the video. We are on top of the situation. We are being extremely careful because the situation has been compounded by the split in the leadership of Boko Haram. We are also being guided by the need to ensure the safety of the girls.

“Since this is not the first time we have been contacted over the issue. We want to be doubly sure that those we are in touch with are who they claim to be.

“We hope that the latest development will signal the beginning of the end of the nightmare to which the girls, their families and indeed all Nigerians have been subjected since the unfortunate abduction.”

Four Found Dead At Ibara Housing Estate,Abeokuta After Drinking Ogogoro.

Four persons have reportedly died in Ibara Housing Estate, Abeokuta, Ogun State, after taking a local liquor, popularly called ogogoro by name.

Our correspondent learnt that the seller of the liquor, Salako Taloju, who also worked as a gateman, was arrested by policemen from the Ibara Police Station on Tuesday.

Punch Metro learnt that Taloju was drunk at the time of arrest.
He was said to have told the police that the victims were residents of the area and he did not poison the liquor.

The deceased were noticed only as Baba Imeko, Baba Onwenue and Easy, while the fourth victim’s name had yet to be ascertained.

Our correspondent came together that three of the victims died on Monday when they all took the liquor, while the fourth victim died on Tuesday.

It was put together that Taloju, who had been selling the liquor for over 20 years, resisted arrest, claiming that he was not guilty in anyways.

Taloju, who spoke incoherently to journalists, said, “We were friends and we had been drinking together for a long time. I do not know why they have to accuse me now of killing them. I also took out of the liquor and nothing happened to me.”

When asked if he had reported the matter to his boss, Taloju said, “Do you want to kill me? My boss has warned me on several occasions not to drink again, but I refused.”

One of the neighbours, Mrs. Kemi Adepitan, confirmed that the victims died after consuming the liquor.

She said, “It is true that they died. Some other sympathisers and I paid a condolence visit to the house of one of the victims this morning.”

The acting Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the command did not receive any report of death.

He said “As far as we are concerned, it is a rumour. If any of their relatives comes and complains that their family members died, then, we can confirm it. We have not seen any corpse. Even though a suspect has been arrested, he is drunk and we cannot rely on his statement.”

[Music]_T-Pain x Classixx – What Ever I Want (Prod. By Young John)

Classixx’ long away Reach album, released in June, was appreciated foray into brightly lit dance music that may have the effect of lowering your body temperature by a few degrees.

The synths used throughout feel like cold steel which is perfect for the heatwave we’re experiencing in New York. But they turned the temperature right back up with the remix of “Whatever I Want” by Nigeria’s Young Jonn The Wicked Producer.

The talented artist has already worked with Wizkid, Olamide, and others. For this remix, Young Jonn speeds up the tempo and represents the strong percussion culture of Africa. T-Pain’s vocals are mostly untouched yet feel just at home as they did on the original. We can definitely see this remix being added to DJ playlists around the whole universe..

Five Massive reasons for PDP's failed national convention in port harcourt.

Below are some of the reasons why the PDP national convention failed to hold at the Port Harcourt stadium as scheduled.

1. Conflicting court judgment: After the Makarfi-led faction announced August 17 for the party’s national convention, Sheriff’s faction filed an interlocutory application, asking the court to stop the party from going ahead with the planned national convention pending the determination of their substantive suit. On Monday, August 15, a Federal High Court in Abuja ruled that the convention should not hold. Justice Okon Abang granted an interim order suspending the convention pending the determination of the application filed before him on July 20. On the other hand, a Federal High Court in Port Harcourt gave a comprehensive Order, specifically ordering the PDP to proceed with the convention as scheduled without hindrance.

2. INEC confused: Following the conflicting court orders, the Independent National Electoral Commission was thrown. The commission was confused on whether it should monitor or stay away from the national convention. Justice Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja, warned the INEC chairman, Prof. Mahood Yakubu, not to monitor the convention while Justice Ibrahim Watila of the Port Harcourt division of the Federal High Court asked INEC to monitor the convention. The conflicting judgments put the commission in a state of confusion.

3. Ali Modu Sheriff’s determination to remain in control: The ousted chairman is one the party’s greatest misfortune. He is determined to remain chairman of the party, insisting his tenure ends in 2018. Despite pleas and moves for reconciliation, Sheriff remains unyielding. He has been fight the leadership of the party with everything he has and all efforts to broker peace between him and Makarfi has hit a brick wall. At every reconciliatory meeting, Sheriff had insisted being recognised as chairman and to be the one to organise the convention. Sheriff is not willing to embrace until his conditions, which party chieftains have described as difficult, are met.

4. Police intervention: In the early hours of Wednesday, August 17, the Nigerian police sealed the venue of the national convention, Sharks Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. The Rivers state government house was shut down by police officers purportedly acting on the orders of the Inspector General of police.

5. The party is divided like never before: Some have described the convention as illegal and a number of the PDP members are not in support of it. Some are of the opinion that the party should have reconciled aggrieved party members before fixing a national convention. At the moment, the party has two factions. Today’s convention may further tear the party apart.

[Primes News]_PDP Convention_"We are In delemma over which oder to obey"-INEC

The "Independent National Electoral Commission" (INEC) has said that it is confused as to which court order to obey concerning the planned "Peoples Democratic Party" (PDP) convention scheduled to hold today (Wednesday) in Port Harcourt.

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja, had ruled on Monday, and reaffirmed on Tuesday that the Party should stop the proposed convention.

He ordered the Inspector General of Police to enforce the ruling, and warned INEC not to flout his orders.

However,Justice Ibrahim Watilaof the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt had also ruled that the National Caretaker Committee of the PDP, led bySenator Ahmed Makarfi, remained the executive authority in all matters concerning the party. Watila directed the IGP and INEC to monitor the convention.

Speaking to PUNCH, INEC’s Director, Publicity and Voters Education,Oluwole Osazesaid that the commission is in dilemma over which order to obey.

Osaze however, added that INEC has not been served the order of the Abuja division of the Federal High Court.

“We are in dilemma over which order to obey for now. One order asks us to go, another says we should not. We are waiting to be served with the order of Justice Abang before knowing what to do.”

Nick Danzang, a deputy director in the same department, said the officials of the commission were on standby in Port Harcourt.

“Although the commission has been served the Port Harcourt court judgment, it has yet to be served the Abuja court judgment by Justice Abang. In the meantime, our monitoring workers are on standby,” Danzang said..
